"The only thing necessary for evil to prosper is for good men to do nothing!" I shall not be silenced! I shall demand truth! "Any thought left unchallenged is established as fact!" The thought that this is a "Muslim nation" is a lie! I shall challenge any insane individual that makes this claim! Nor were the founders of this nation and the framers of the Constitution deists!
My Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, was and is the living Son of the living Jehovah God! Allah is not "just another name for the Jehovah God Jews and Christians worship!" Allah is a god fabricated by the Prophet Mohammed and is celebrated in the Qu'ran as a "great deceiver!"

"Read it and weep?" For whom? Your grandchildren!

The ACORN Youth Union? And many other "potentially related" organizations getting $40 million in taxpayer funding! And while this was going on our troops protecting this country were going without needed supplies?

Please read this from CNS:

‘ACORN Youth Union’ Chapters Were Funded by Justice Department, Says GAOFriday, June 18, 2010
By Terence P. Jeffrey, Editor-in-Chief

(CNSNews.com) - "The U.S. Justice Department gave a group called the New York Agency for Community Affairs a grant of $135,130 in fiscal year 2005 to “provide youth leadership training to students at select New York City schools, form ‘ACORN Youth Union’ chapters, and coordinate student campaigns to address issues such as school funding, neighborhood safety, and school governance,” according to a Government Accountability Office report released this week.

The GAO report says that in fiscal years 2005 through 2009 the federal government gave ACORN and what the GAO calls “potentially related organizations” more than $40 million in federal funds.

According to the report, eight other agencies joined the Justice Department in providing federal funding to ACORN and “potentially related organizations.” These included the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Treasury Department, Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Election Assistance Commission (EAC), NeighborWorks, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB).

“Nine agencies—HUD, DHS, DOJ, EAC, NeighorWorks, CPB, EPA, Treasury, and NEA—have identified approximately $37.5 million in direct federal grants and at least $2.9 million in subawards (i.e. grants and contracts awarded by federal grantees) to ACORN or potentially related organizations, primarily for housing-related purposes during fiscal years 2005 through 2009,” says the report.

The GAO explains that for purposes of the report it asked 31 federal agencies that it queried about potential funding of ACORN and related organizations to use a list of organizations created by the Congressional Research Service (CRS). “To enable the 31 agencies, for the purposes of this report, to determine whether they had provided funding to ACORN or any potentially related organizations, we suggested that they search their grant and procurement databases using the organizations identified by CRS as potentially having a relationship with ACORN,” said the report. “We selected the CRS list in part because counsel for ACORN identified the majority of organizations on the list as having some sort of relationship to ACORN.”

The Justice Department grant to the New York Agency for Community Affairs was initially reported by the Justice Department’s Office of Inspector General when it issued a report last November on Justice Department grants to ACORN and ACORN-affiliated organizations.

The IG report said the grant in question was the result of a congressional earmark, and specifically mentioned that one purpose was to form “ACORN Youth Union” chapters.

“In addition, we identified one direct grant of DOJ funds to an ACORN affiliate, the New York Agency for Community Affairs, Inc. (NYACA),” said the IG report. “We considered NYACA to be an affiliate of ACORN because it acted as a fiscal agent for ACORN, engaged in substantial financial transactions with ACORN, and DOJ grant documentation showed that ACORN was a major partner in the grant program being funded. In FY 2005, NYACA received a grant of $138,130 resulting from a congressional earmark. The purposes of the grant to NYACA were to provide youth leadership training to students at select New York City schools; form “ACORN Youth Union” chapters; and coordinate student campaigns to address issues such as school funding, neighborhood safety, and school governance.”

The grant was given out by the Justice Department’s Office of Justice Programs (OJP). The application for the grant, according to the IG report, said the applicant intended to use the federal money in "building a base of trained student leaders."

“The NYACA’s program title identified in the grant award document was ‘ACORN Youth Organizing,’” said the IG report. “The award period for the grant was from September 1, 2005, to August 31, 2006. The grant program narrative submitted with the application described the program’s goals as: (1) building a base of trained student leaders, (2) winning specific improvements and policy changes, and (3) increasing post-high school opportunities for young people. According to the budget detail submitted with the application, the award funds were to be used entirely for personnel and benefits for the following positions: (1) a part-time Executive Director, (2) a part-time Brooklyn Schools Organizer, (3) a part-time Brooklyn Lead Organizer, and (4) two full-time Youth Organizers. According to OJP, NYACA received all the grant funds with the last draw-down in September 2006.”

Congress included language in its fiscal 2010 spending bills that block funding for ACORN. "Congress passed povisions restricting the funding of ACORN or any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, or allied organizations in the fiscal year 2010 continuing resolutions, which were followed by several fiscal 2010 appropriations acts that prohibited any appropriated funds from being awarded to various ACORN or ACORN-related organizations," said the GAO."

So we gave ACORN, involved in widespread voter fraud and mis-appropriation of government funds, their share of $40 million! And this was going on while George W. Bush was in office!

Hitler and present day Muslim Islamofascists had and have the same idea!

As a great nation this country is finished!

Institutional corruption as a policy!

1974, summer, it was hot! I was in the Victoria County Jail. Spent two weeks in Tank 2 before the Sheriff made me a trustee. Sheriff Dalton "Dutch" Meyer was a friend of my grandfathers and Pop was sick. Sheriff Meyer laet me out to visit him before he passed. Let me out for his funeral too.
Anyway, while I was in the tank we were visited by a well-known local businessman preaching the Word to us inmates. I could quote John 3:16 and he was impressed so I asked him for a job when I got out. He promised me one and made good on it! Then I was impressed.
Uh...er...until I saw how his business operated. It was corrupt! Selling un-needed car repairs. In a meeting we were told to cut off every valve stem on every wheel we put a tire on and we'd get .25 cents out of the $1.75 charged for the valve stem.
This was corporate, institutionalized fraud, theft and corruption as a matter of policy! Hmmm! Maybe these folks needed to spend some time in Tank 2!

Today it's much worse! Went to Wal-Mart tonight and they have a bulk items "Rollback" isle! And there it was, Kraft Miracle Whip at $1.97! Boy, that's cheap! HOWEVER, look closely! It's not in a quart jar anymore! It's a 30 ounce jar!
I spoke about rising food prices two years ago on the local rag and got labeled a fear monger for it! Well Archie, I told you so!

And it's everywhere you look at almost all commercial businesses. Went to Sears to buy lawnmower blades. Always makes me grit my teeth paying $38.00 for two blades made of such soft metal they don't get past the second sharpening! The nice young man said, "You can get $15 off if you apply for a credit card," so I figured I'd just get my discount and pay the other $18 and cut up the card and poof!
Ooooooh no! What the nice young man didn't tell me was there was a $59 yearly fee! So to get a $15 discount I was on the hook for $59! He even folded the reciept for me to sign in such a way that I couldn't see the yearly fee!
Corporate corruption as a matter of policy!

Greed, covetousness and outright fraud is everywhere! Chuckle! My local paper hired an admitted plagerist!

Why isn't this con artist in jail?

According to a piece by Gene Koprowski there is a growing consensus amongst the scientific community that the earth is actually cooling and is expected to get even cooler.

"The hottest new trend in climate change may be global cooling, some researchers say.
Contrary to the commonly held scientific conclusion that the Earth is getting warmer, Dr. Don Easterbrook, emeritus professor of geology at Western Washington University and author of more than 150 peer-reviewed papers, has unveiled evidence for his prediction that global cooling is coming soon.

'Rather than global warming at a rate of 1 F per decade, records of past natural cycles indicate there may be global cooling for the first few decades of the 21st century to about 2030,' said Easterbrook, speaking on a scientific panel discussion with other climatologists. This, he says, will likely be followed by 'global warming from about 2030 to 2060,' which will then be followed by another cooling spell from 2060 to 2090.

Easterbrook spoke before a group of about 700 scientists and government officials at the fourth International Conference on Climate Change. The conference is presented annually in Chicago by the Heartland Institute, a conservative nonprofit think tank that actively questions the theory of man's role in global warming. Last year the Institute published Climate Change Reconsidered, a comprehensive reply to the United Nations' latest report on climate change."

This begs some questions; if in fact(and it is a very well documented fact according to recent reports on NPR) the earth has not warmed in the past decade as is claimed, then just how much cooler will it get?
Is it true that the carbon dioxide emitted from the volcano in Iceland has more than surpassed any reductions in emissions humans have made? (Psssst! Yes, this is true!)
Is it also true that the ash and various green house gasses emited from that volcano will contribute significantly to global cooling for the next two to three years? Yes, according to the National Weather Service and NOAA.
Is THAT cooling figured into Easterbrook's predictions? I understand it isn't!
Hmmm! 'Nuther couple of questions; Should I cut another couple of cords of firewood for this winter? Wonder if Al Gore's foundation will award grants for heating low income American homes this winter? Chuckle!

It seems it's only the highly educated and those making money from global warming that still believe in and promote this scam!
