Sweat!

Sweat is what it takes to create things, to build things to produce! Many Americans have lost that talent!

There was a time when we were an industrious and determined people! Due to a number of factors we have generally lost that!

I had a Job experience. No not a job experience, a biblical Job experience. I lost everything! I very nearly lost my life!

In the space of five years I lost my health, I lost my ability to work, my life's savings were wiped out almost over night. I lost two vehicles to the repo man. I had two side jobs and lost both of them. I tried to go back to work and broke my foot the second day. I was diagnosed with the start of conjestive heart failure, Type II diabetes, high blood pressure and foot neuropathy. I visited the office of the woman I deeply and truly loved and heard her office mates repeating her boast of Demi Moore who had married Ashton Cutcher an actor half her age because she was living with a former office mate half HER age. My son had been transferred to St. Petersburg, Florida and I found out that an international corporation had told a potential employer that I was a convicted felon and implied that I had served seven years in prison and none of it true! For two years I had zero income!

Yes, I could say I'd had a Job experience. I mean, what else could I lose? And then my father died a terrible death. The only good thing was that I knew he is with the Lord!

How could this be happening? I tithed, gave offerings, did alms and had a ministry of helps to the Pastor and how could this happen to me?

It was a slow, gut wrenching climb back up but I lost 165 pounds and got with the right doctors/got the right meds and in late 2008 I was up in the top of a construction dumpster taking out some plywood needed for the remodeling to a renthouse that was given to me and the Lord finally spoke! He said, "Now you know how to survive!" I wept!

I thought about it all the next day and examined the changes he made in my life. Since I was unable to get away from the house more than a few hours at a time because I was and am the primary caregiver for my mother, I learned who and how to ask to salvage construction sites.

I learned that there wasn't anything legal I wouldn't do to make an honest dollar. It's amazing what a man's pride being stripped away will lead him to if he's a committed Christian!

I had a learning experience and the Lord doesn't teach a class that severe unless those skills learned won't be needed!

I believe America has a Job experience coming! A storm is coming indeed! Are you ready?

A $23 billion teacher bail-out?

How about it? A cart load of money to buy a loaf of bread? Sweeping money up off the streets like trash? Stacking worthless bank notes? Hmmm! How about that young trillionaire?

Didn't someone say that if we don't learn from history we are doomed to repeat it?
Hmmm! You'd think teachers, educated and supposedly intelligent would know all of this! I guess not!

A $23 billion teacher bail-out for a profession that is currently turning out an inferior product!

And the money! Where's it going to come from? We have two options; borrow it from the Chinese or just print the money. Now since the Chinese aren't lending any more and are trying to convince others not to lend to the United States the only other option is to print the money.

Hmmm! Now since Ben Bernanke ordered $1.2 trillion in new currency printed up in March of last year, are we nopw to believe we will need to print even more?

And since the Obama administration and congress is still holding more than $34 billion in unspent TARP money, why print up more?

And how much of the stimulus money from last year is still unspent?

And shouldn't we consider all of this money funny money since there's nothing backing it?

It seems all we are doing is re-arranging the deck chairs on a sinking ship!

A storm is coming!

Money: The root of all evil?

No! The LOVE of money is the root of all evil! I hate what the love of money and the things money can buy does to people!

In order to alleviate present crises governments down through history have just printed up money without thought of consequences. Resulting in hyper-inflation, usually ending in terrible poverty and eventual war!

In order to increase one's own immediate comfort and desire for the THINGS money can buy people have cheated, lied, murdered and maimed without thought of consequences, immediate or future.

Let me tell you a story;

Linda (not her real name) met Robert (not his real name) at a night club where I tended bar. A perfect match! Everyone saw it and so did Linda and Robert! Both about the same age. Both nice looking people. Both well-liked and popular. He worked at a local industrial plant and owned a house in a nice neighborhood. She held a clerical position and lived in a mobile home in a secluded rural neighboprhood. Both had nice lives and their meeting made things nicer.

It was obvious to all that she loved him (she told me several times) and he literally worshipped her(he was ready to scream it to the world!).

Problem! When a younger girl Linda has suffered from some very severe poverty. She was grimly determined never to go back there again. It seems that while Robert's financial position was nicely fixed it still wasn't enough for Linda.

In steps Bill(not his name). Bill is a multi-millionaire rancher from a nearby small town. He's no match for Linda. He's crude and pretentious! Obnoxious and loud and Linda would be just another posession. He bought her a diamond ring with a rock so big it weighed her arm down.

I had occasion to visit with Linda at length and she admitted she loved Robert but intended to marry Bill. And she did!

And so is the way of the world! A sick world! This literally broke Robert's heart! From that time, the early nineties to today, he has never been the same. Linda, a stunningly pretty woman for her age, aged terribly. BUT she was rich!

Not my definition of rich but she was rich!

And by the purest definition of the word, she was and is a prostitute. Immediate creature comforts and wealth were more important to her than the love she had for a very nice fellow and her perfect match!

Today! In America today we look for immedicate comfort. Immediate relief without sacrifice! This is the reason we have now begun to borrow from and steal from our grandchildren! This is why we have monetized our national debt by printing money.

Like linda, we have prostituted ourselves and put the next two generations of American children(those we haven't butchered in abortion mills) into debt that we ourselves cannot begin to pay!

There's a storm coming people!

A storm is coming because since the "Greatest Generation" we have raised almost three generations of children who have lost the grit and determination to work hard and sweat at a trade or craft building this nation!

We SHALL pay for this!
