What's in a word? Or the absense of a word?

Yes! What's in a word? Or the absense of a word? Often the latter can be as powerful a menace as the former!

From the garbage being proffered forth on the TLC channel there won't be any real truth about Islam or what being Muslim in America is really like!

And of course one of the soft-spoken imams in the first episode has close links to jihadist/terrorists! Anyone really surprised?

All American Muslim seems to be just another joke on anyone silly enough to believe this propaganda puff piece!

While our president praises the "Arab Spring" in Egypt, women are herded around like domestic animals!

The American people still like keeping their heads in the sand! Too involved in sports to see their country going to hell in a hand basket!

The debt clock ticked over the $15 trillion mark this week and the debt super committee can't decide on $1.2 trillion in cuts!

Over the next 10 years the U.S. has $40 trillion in unfunded liability, our offshore oil platforms are vulnerable to foreign attack, we are a net importer of our food, food prices are on the rise and expected to only go higher, we haven't built a new gasoline refinery in 30 years, we don't use enough of the abundant gas and coal we have right here and the government kills more jobs than it says it wants to create!

Government doesn't create jobs! Commerce does!

While we whine about illegal aliens coming and taking our jobs, generally speaking, we teach two generations of children that working and sweating with our hands at a trade or craft is something to be avoided!

And God forbid that a Border Patrol should offend some drug smuggler! We throw him in prison and let the smuggler free!

Yes! There is a storm coming! When we should say a word we are silent! When we do say a word we are silenced by highly educated politically correct, arrogant idiots who only look down on people they consider their lessers!

A lot of this attitude can be found at the Victoria Advocate in my own hometown of Victoria, Texas! It's new leadership has done it's best to silence and slander me but I still speak up!

A storm is coming! When American credit is down-graded again and austerity measures are forced on a population that has grown up with entitlement mentality and riots in the streets burn the cities, will you speak up then?

We've raised two generations of children without a biblical world view and we have a growing Muslim population whose religion teaches that we need to convert or die!

Yes folks, a storm is coming!

No one will ever say that Kenneth Schustereit was silent!

Top ten reasons to stop the disease of shari'ah law!

Top ten reasons to stop the disease called shari’ah law! Expanded with comments!

10. Islam commands that drinkers and gamblers should be whipped.
So the judicial government of a nation should round up Grandma at the bridge game, take away her Sherry and whip her? Yeah, that something the government really needs to get into!
9. Islam allows husbands to hit their wives even if the husbands merely fear highhandedness in their wives.
So if a fellow feels his wife is just a little more intelligent that himself he can beat her? Oops! Yup, that’s right! Devout Muslims don’t allow girls to be educated! Stupid morons! Grow a set of stones and pick on someone your own size! Moron? Did I say “moron?” Oh so sorry, but perhaps these Muslims should stop marrying their first cousins!
8. Islam allows an injured plaintiff to exact legal revenge—physical eye for physical eye.
So if I have an accident due to a blow-out and kill a Muslim’s child, he can kill my child?
7. Islam commands that a male and female thief must have a hand cut off.
SO…no chance for one to turn his/her life around! Just wack off that right hand! Hmmmm! Forgiveness doesn’t amount to much in Islam!
6. Islam commands that highway robbers should be crucified or mutilated.
Welllll! Then Barak Obama should get in line! He has robbed my grandchildren of their futures! Hang him up there with Bush, Clinton and the last several presidents!
5. Islam commands that homosexuals must be executed.
Do the gays in the United States that are having rallies for Islam know about this? Chuckle! Oops! They’ll be starting in Pakistan won’t they! If they hold to that rule there won’t be a Taliban left!
4. Islam orders unmarried fornicators to be whipped and adulterers to be stoned to death.
Oooooook! So we depopulate half the United States! And Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia and Yemin and so on and so on!
3. Islam orders death for Muslim and possible death for non—Muslim critics of Muhammad and the Quran and even sharia itself.
Muhammed was a perverted pedophile who married a nine year old girl! He wrote a book of contradictions justifying murder, rape and genocide that is the basis for shari’ah law which is more of a plan for anarchy!
2. Islam orders apostates to be killed.
“Good and peaceful Muslims,” the kind the American left love are indeed apostates deserving of the same death as an infadel dog!
1. Islam commands offensive and aggressive and unjust jihad.
Small correction here! In Islam there is no unjust jihad! Jihad is always offensive, aggressive and justified in the eyes of an inbred half-whit!

Eliyahu Sterne NY Times editorial contributor
Supporters of these bills contend that such measures are needed to protect the country against homegrown terrorism and safeguard its Judeo-Christian values. The Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich has said that “Shariah is a mortal threat to the survival of freedom in the United States and in the world as we know it.”
This is exactly wrong. The crusade against Shariah undermines American democracy, ignores our country’s successful history of religious tolerance and assimilation, and creates a dangerous divide between America and its fastest-growing religious minority.

So! These are the words of Eliyahu Sterne! A Jew would write this load of horse manure? Do not the Jews call someone like this a “Judenrat!?”

Silly, clueless Americans remind me of the bird sitting on the fence post and they hear a slight whisper...

Load that MA-Duece! Grab a dime! Set that head space and let's rock and roll!

Oh yeah and then there's the sexual genital mutilation of thousands of little girls every year in the Muslim world! A religion founded by a dirty, nasty old sexual predator and pervert!

So what do we do?

Socialists thrive on taking from those who produce and are prosperous and giving to those THEY feel deserve what those who produce and are prosperous have earned for themselves!

Socialism is a political system that thrives on greed and covetousness. "Taking from the haves and giving to the have nots!" And doing this under threat of law with a system of oppressive, regressive and confiscatory government regulation, fees and taxation.

This country has built it's house on the sands of socialism. Penalizing those who work in favor of those who'd rather not!

As a result, criminal/political hacks like Al Sharpton hold a specter of prejudice over all who disagree. They hold the scepter of government power over all who dare bring common sense and truth to any discussion of the facts.

This is the quagmire into which the discussion of immigration reform has fallen and thanks to reprobates like Sharpton and the intellectually superior(in their own opinion) and the politically correct, like Victoria Advocate editor Chris Cobler, roll around and baste themselves in every day!

The idea that people from another country could, or WOULD even dare come to this country and protest on streets paid for by our taxes is an obvious insult to those of us who pay those taxes! The idea that they would come here and block traffic on our streets or walk around on and desecrate our state and national flags with impunity is defenseless and absurd!

Make no mistake, comprehensive immigration reform has more to do with yet another round of amnesty than actual immigration reform. I still hear the echoes, printed on the editorial pages of the Advocate, of the anti-immigration reform activists of the 80s touting amnesty as a solution to the problem.

The difference between then and now is that the politically correct in media today are able to silence more of those out there demanding the truth be told. This is why I was banned from the blog pages of the Victoria Advocate.

Because I wrote a very even-handed blog discussing the immigration issue I was profiled as a prejudiced Anglo and my blog pulled. That blog can be seen on this blogsite by scrolling down to the first entry.

Anyone, including the obnoxious and arrogant Mr. Cobler, who says I attacked anyone is a liar and a coward!

This country today is in a serious dilemma. In a broad, but I feel justified generalization, we have raised two generations of young people who not only don't want to work but have never been taught how!

Two generations of young people who feel working, doing actual labor to build something with their hands and by the sweat of their brow is a bad thing. As someone who was in a position to see that contractors at a local plant were properly manned-up to do the work they were hired to do, I found that immigrant workers were, in many cases, more qualified and had a higher work ethic than young American workers. This is very telling when looking at many Americans looking for work today!

Sadly, we have also killed off two generations of children, over 50 million now, in the butcher shops of American abortuaries.

So increasingly, whose going to fit the pipe, paint the vessels, pull the wire and tie the rebar necessary to build America? Worse yet, as those entering liberal arts colleges increase, those entering engineering schools decrease!

Is any of this an excuse for throwing open the doors and allowing just anyone in this country? No, but then again just who is going to pay into a bankrupt Social Security system to fund those baby boomers who are reaching retirement age at the rate of literally thousands every day?

So what do we do? At the Advocate, we profile anyone who speaks out on this subject as prejudiced no matter how baseless and false the claim. We use our power to silence all opposition. We use the ignorance of child wannabe/journalists to silence any who demand an even-handed discussion of the issue!

What would Sergaent Juan Abamillo say? Juan Abamillo? Sergaent Juan Abamillo was one of eighteen volunteers of Hispanic descent who died DEFENDING the walls of the Alamo! A hero of Texas!

Now how is it that I know the name of this sergeant and not one of the journalism wannabes who pulled my blog at the Advocate does now or did when they pulled it?

What if...just what if...

What if...just what if...you were well-bested in a discussion concerning just about any subject...or...were proven to have lied or...perhaps...been factually incorrect about something you maintained as fact?
What if there were no personal consequences?
Consequences! I've been facing them all my life! "There's that SOB Schustereit!" I was called at breakfast one morning by a County Commissioner because I dared ask where some money went that an oil company gave the county for road repairs.
Oh, and there was the County Judge who entered false accusations about me into county records because I drew up a poster saying that anyone on county court who failed to support the troops should be horsewhipped and run out of town! Chuckle!
I SIGNED MY NAME TO IT! ENJOYED IT TOO!
However, today, in the world of anonymous blogging on is able to carry on an endless argument, be absolutely incorrect in whatever assertion, and just keep on keepin' on!
That is the world of blogging today and sadly it's the world embraced, nay, encouraged by my local paper, the Victoria Advocate!
This is cute; a fella named John Figer wrote a letter to the editor using numbers, I asserted, he knew were incorrect. I wrote a comment behind the letter asking where he got the numbers. Didn't answer. Asked again. No answer! Five more times I asked and no answer and then all of my comments were pulled. I called to ask why and was told I was "taunting!" I was told this by a fresh graduate of journalism!
Are we gettin' the picture yet?
Anonymity breeds cowardice and encourages the unflappable!

A drought of truth!

Wow! It's hot, dry and still out there! I shoveled up a wheel barrel of horse manure to help guide the irrigation water from the well into the pecan orchard.

My feet are hot and numb from the foot neuropathy and these Nikes I got from a construction dumpster could fit better!

Dry dryness of the ground is terrible. Working the pecan and citrus orchards always gives me tiome to think; to contemplate, to ponder.

I made the mistake of calling to issue a local immigration activist last year who was protesting the Arizona immigration law.

Oops! A fair discussion of the truth of the matter and my opinion got me profiled as another prejudiced anglo and banned from the blogs of the Victoria Advocate. Most amusing since the protests of the Arizona immigration law were all about profiling.

More amusing was the fact that in no way did the blog I posted violate Advocate user or editorial policy and anyone who says it did is a coward and a liar.

We have a drought in media today! A lack of truth and a fair discussion of the actual facts of a matter. Those who demand accuracy and truth in any matter are too dangerous to be heard from and therefore banned in an effort to silence them!

I shall not be silenced by self-important, obnoxious twits in love with the sound of their own voices and the pompous images they see in the mirror!

Yup, it's dry! Gotta go turn another valve in the orchard!

*Note please the photo shows the image of Mr. Tim Delaney. A real journalist whom I respect.

As 49 of the 50 states report snow and in some cases more snow that they've had in over 150 years, the EPA is stubbornly sticking to the lie that we have global warming! They told us in the 70s and 80s that chlorofluorocarbons were eating away the ozone and now when carbon dioxide is supposedly plugging up that (mythical) hole we must stop that too! Chlorofluorocarbons (freon) were never the problem. DuPont's patent ran out on it and they needed another cash cow and gave huge amounts of money to the silly enviro-nuts to campaign to have it banned. Some of the senior nutcases in that movement work at the EPA today. It was a scam! Carbon dioxide is a necessary and beneficial gas that is needed for healthy plantlife! It is not a greenhouse gas and if they just walk outside, supposing the door is not piled with snow, they'd see there is no global warming! Research parameters and protocols for this theory have been proven to be compromised and in many cases fraudulantly concocted! However, what I most want to point out is that despite the fact that this president is sold on promoting this scam, the scam has been developing through the administrations of both parties! What we are in need of is a president who'll shake up that agency and fire every government employee that believes in this scheme! The overall theme of the EPA, in general, seems to be almost Galton-like Malthusian in it's premise; let the people die off and save the planet! Eugenics at it's finest! This idea has creeped into the Department of Agriculture to such an extent that this country, for the first time in modern history, became a net food importer! Did we not learn from importing oil? As we march headlong towards famine in this country, food shortages are already occuring. We have huge oil reserves here that are untapped while we pay through the nose for imported oil! We have not built a new gasoline refinery in 30 years and our fuel transport system is aging, leaving this country vulnerable to terrorist attack. At some point we need to wake up! Will we before a crisis? No! It's coming!

Suppressed EPA scientist breaks silence, speaks on Fox News By: Mark Tapscott Editorial Page Editor 06/30/09 12:10 PM EDT

"Alan Carlin, the senior EPA research analyst who authored a study critical of global warming that was suppressed by agency officials, has broken his silence and spoken on Fox News about his situation. Carlin told "Fox & Friends" Steve Ducy and Gretchen Carlson that his most important conclusion in the study was that the U.S. should not rely upon recommendations of the UN in making policy decisions regarding global warming.

"The most important conclusion, in my view, was that EPA needed to look at the science behind global warming and not depend upon reports issued by the United Nations, which is what they were thinking of doing and in fact have done," Carlin said.

Asked what happened to his study once it was completed, Carlin said "my supervisors decided not to forward it to the group within EPA who had the responsibility for preparing an overall report which would guide EPA on whether to find that the emission of global warming gases would be something that EPA should regulate."

Carlin has been at EPA for 38 years and until the Fox interview was telling reporters seeking interviews that he was instructed by EPA officials not to speak with them. He almost certainly risks retalitation by EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson and other Obama appointees within the agency.

There are federal laws designed to protect whistle blowers like Carlin from political retaliation. It will be fascinating to watch how an administration of the Left deals with a whistleblower who for whatever reason opposes their political agenda. Will they persecute him or protect him?

I've had occasion to deal with quite a few whistle blowers over the years and they generally fall into two categories: First are the sincere employees who see something they believe to be wrong, are rejected when they go through channels seeking change, and are then subjected to reprisals, big and small, which ultimately exact an incredibly high emotional, professional and financial toll. It is not uncommon for these folks to become obsessed with seeking vindication, to suffer nervous breakdowns or end up divorced.

Then there are the others who somehow manage to maintain an emotional and professional balance while maintaining the rightness of their cause and pursuing it to a conclusion. It often takes years, but eventually they sometimes win vindication, though by that time the original controversy is usually long past and the wrong they exposed has either been forgotten, papered over or, occasionally, addressed and remedied.

A great example of this second kind of whistle blower is William Clinkscales, a man I greatly admire who exposed hundreds of millions of dollars of waste and fraud at the General Services Administration (GSA) during the Carter years, and was put through hell as his reward. He was vindicated by President Reagan who honored his service and recognized the importance of what he had done.

Bill once told me of his being reassigned to a do-nothing job as his boss in effect saying to him: "Now Bill, in this extremely important new job I am giving you, your task is to watch that flagpole out in front of the GSA headquarters and if it moves, you come tell me immediately." I still chuckle when I think of Bill telling me that, but it was indicative of the lot that too often greets whistle blowers like Alan Carlin.

Carlin told Fox that "things are a little tense, but as of last night, I still had a job." Sounds like he is expecting the worst.

My prediction in this case is that Carlin will be stripped of duties, given an office that was previously used as a broom closet and transferred to a duty location as far from EPA headquarters in Washington, D.C. as possible. Or he will soon opt for retirement, which will then free him to write and speak as he pleases, secure in his receipt of a pension from the federal government's old Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS).

The Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) broke the story about Carlin's study being suppressed last week and has posted extensive information about the situation. It appears the story has generated so much interest that CEI's web site is overwhelmed with traffic, as it is taking a loooonnnnnggggg time to load.

UPDATE: CEI demands EPA hear public comments on suppressed study

The good folks at CEI have issued astatement today demanding that EPA reopen the comment period on the proposed rule on the agency's plans to regulate global warming emissions - CO2, the same thing every human being breathes out during the normal course of living - and to which the Carlin study was addressed."

"Suppressed study?" Anyone remember when a politician from the UK came to give testimony before Congress to refute global warming and got dis-invited because congress was supposed to hear from Al "the walking apostle" Gore that day? Suppression? Anyone remember Philem McClaren having his mic cut because he tried to question his most high enviro-holiness Mr. Gore?

At the EPA, the truth must be suppressed even as they shiver from the cold! Fire the whole bunch!

Yup, it seems if you have actually taken the trouble to seek out and diligently know the truth of the matter about a given subject or circumstance, you'd better just keep it to yourself if it doesn't agree with the politically correct, educated elite of this country! Like McClaren, they will shut you up if they can!

These self important, cowardly, insufferable snobs will do anything to hide the light of truth as they skulk around their editorial board rooms and slander better men than themselves!

No! Not on CBS! Not on NBC! Not in the Victoria Advocate either!

What you see here are illegal immigrants desecrating both the Arizona state flag and the American flag! Notice please the toilet paper and the toilet seat!

The very idea that this is an example of how the average Hispanic American feels is an insult! There have been more Hispanic Medal of Honor winners than any other race and this garbage is a slap in each of their faces!

You will not see this on the CBS evening news! Nor will you see it on any of the other "mainstream media!" Now will you see in in the Victoria Advocate!

Chris Cobler, the plagerist-in-chief at the Advocate, banned me from the blog forum for doing a very well balanced piece on the local anti-Arizona march in Victoria.

Nor did he have the intelligence or journalistic ethics to give a reason for the ban.

I have the email he sent.

Long before he came to Victoria I did a number of letters to the editor concerning immigration reform. None violated Advocate "user policy" at the time. All were published, as written.

In fact, I was writing about immigration reform in Victoria before many of the forum moderators were born! And therein lies the rub! It was assumed that since I had an Anglo last name and I was writing about this issue. I must be prejudiced!

In other words I was racially profiled by people who don't know that one of my two mother's name is Cano! And I speak and sing better Spanish than some of those moderators!

Ah, the power of ignorance in the hands of the educated elite is an awesome thing!

Local print journalism seems to have fallen into the hands of the crowd from Sesame Street!

Aviso, Advocate! Lo que tu mas odias, en tu casa lo has tienes de vere! Es cierto!

EXCLUSIVE: DOJ Accused of Stalling on MOVE Act for Voters in Military
By Jana Winter

Published July 28, 2010
FoxNews.com

AP

Oct. 26, 2004: U.S. Army Sgt. George Scheufele prepares to mail in his completed absentee ballot after voting in the American Presidential and Congressional election while at Camp Eagle in the battle-torn Sadr City neighborhood of Baghdad, Iraq.

The Department of Justice is ignoring a new law aimed at protecting the right of American soldiers to vote, according to two former DOJ attorneys who say states are being encouraged to use waivers to bypass the new federal Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment (MOVE) Act.

The MOVE Act, enacted last October, ensures that servicemen and women serving overseas have ample time to get in their absentee ballots. The result of the DOJ's alleged inaction in enforcing the act, say Eric Eversole and J. Christian Adams — both former litigation attorneys for the DOJ’s Voting Section — could be that thousands of soldiers' ballots will arrive too late to be counted.

"It is an absolute shame that the section appears to be spending more time finding ways to avoid the MOVE Act, rather than finding ways to ensure that military voters will have their votes counted," said Eversole, director of the Military Voter Protection Project, a new organization devoted to ensuring military voting rights. "The Voting Section seems to have forgotten that it has an obligation to enforce federal law, not to find and raise arguments for states to avoid these laws."

Adams, a conservative blogger (www.electionlawcenter.com) who gained national attention when he testified against his former employer after it dropped its case against the New Black Panther Party, called the DOJ’s handling of the MOVE Act akin to “keystone cops enforcement.”

“I do know that they have adopted positions or attempted to adopt positions to waivers that prove they aren’t interested in aggressively enforcing the law,” Adams told FoxNews.com. “They shouldn’t be going to meeting with state election officials and telling them they don’t like to litigate cases and telling them that the waiver requirements are ambiguous.”

The MOVE act requires states to send absentee ballots to overseas military troops 45 days before an election, but a state can apply for a waiver if it can prove a specific "undue hardship" in enforcing it.

Sen. John Cornyn,R-Texas – who co-sponsored MOVE – wrote a letter to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder on July 26 saying he is concerned that the Department of Justice is allowing states to opt out of the new law. Click here to read the letter.

“Military voters have been disenfranchised for decades, and last year Congress acted," Cornyn said in a statement to FoxNews.com. "But according to recent information, the Department of Justice has expressed reluctance to protect the civil rights of military voters under the new law. All our men and women in uniform deserve a chance to vote this November, and the Obama administration bears responsibility for ensuring that they have it.

“For far too long in this country, we have failed to adequately protect the right of our troops and their families to participate in our democratic process. The MOVE Act was supposed to end this sad history. The right to participate in democratic elections is fundamental to the American experience.”

In his letter to Holder, Cornyn cites minutes from the 2010 winter meeting of the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS), during which Rebecca Wertz, deputy chief of the DOJ's voting section, told state election officials that the legislative language regarding waivers is not completely clear. Wertz described the provisions of the law as “fairly general” and “somewhat of an open question as to what type of information” a state needs to submit in order to for their waiver application to be granted. She said it was also unclear whether waivers are for one election only, or if they apply to future elections.

According to the meeting's minutes, obtained by FoxNews.com, Wertz also said “that the DOJ is working to find effective ways to disseminate any information guidance that can help states with different questions about MOVE interpretation. She invited questions and dialogue from states, and said that litigation is always the last resort.”

Cornyn wrote, “If these are the positions of the DOJ, then they fly in the face of the clear statutory language, undermine the provisions in question, and jeopardize the voting rights of our men and women in uniform.”

He said the language of the law makes it clear that there is no ambiguity when it comes to states' eligibility for being granted a waiver, and that the statute does not leave room for the Justice Department to decide whether to enforce its requirements.

“If a state is not in compliance with the statute, there is little room for “dialogue” or negotiation, and the Voting Section should take immediate steps to enforce the law and safeguard military and overseas voting rights, including pursuing litigation whenever necessary,” Cornyn wrote. “The comments by the DOJ official, as reported in the NASS minutes, appear to ignore Congress’ clear legislative language and could facilitate the disenfranchisement of our men and women in uniform.”

Cornyn, who discussed Eversole’s allegations at a meeting with Defense Department officials last week, called for Holder to immediately provide guidelines to state election officials; to ensure that states are required to abide by the law; and to provide Cornyn himself with a state-by-state breakdown of which states have already applied for waivers and which are expected to be in noncompliance with MOVE in the November midterm election. He also called for full transparency in the waiver process.

A spokeswoman for the Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division, Xochitl Hinojosa, declined to comment, other than to say Cornyn’s letter is being reviewed.

FoxNews.com obtained waiver applications submitted by Washington and Hawaii.

Defense Department spokeswoman Air Force Major April Cunningham told FoxNews.com that New York, Delaware, Maryland, Alaska and Virgin Islands had also applied for waivers. (Cornyn's co-sponsor for the MOVE Act was New York Sen. Chuck Schumer, a Democrat.)

“The voting section has taken this haphazard approach to enforcing military voting law,” said Eversole. “The voting section is asserting itself into statute to make a statute that’s not ambiguous, ambiguous. Can you imagine any other agency giving prospective defendants advice like this?”

“Everybody in Washington knows it doesn’t matter how good the law is; it comes down to who’s enforcing it,” said Adams. “This stuff should be transparent and online for the citizens of these states to comment on, the fact that it's being done behind closed doors tells you everything you need to know about how it will affect the voters.”

Adams and Eversole separately pointed out that the DOJ’s website lacks any mention of the MOVE Act. In fact, the section on military voting includes the outdated and nonbinding 30-day recommendation for sending out ballots. There is no mention of the the current 45-day mandate.

But the DOJ's online voting section includes a detailed section devoted to helping felons learn how get their voting rights back.

“It is just offensive to most Americans that we can send soldiers to the front lines but they can't vote,” said Eversole. “This is an issue that tugs at the heartstrings of America and people can’t understand why we can’t get that right. This is something we have to get right. We should be fighting as hard for their rights as they’re fighting for ours.”

Hmmm! And this was from the Associated Press! Definitely not a friend of the average freedom loving conservative!

We live in a culture today where the educated and cultural elite do their best to silense any resistance to their attempts to rule this country!

If you are deemed politically incorrect, you are profiled and dismissed! Not worthy to be heard! Not worthy to have a voice.

Don't do what I do, do what I say do! Peasant!

Remember folks, this is the guy who wanted to be president! His party leaders said it's patriotic to pay higher taxes!

BOSTON (AP) -- "Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry is docking his family's new $7 million yacht in neighboring Rhode Island, allowing him to avoid paying roughly $500,000 in taxes to the cash-strapped Bay State.

If the "Isabel" were kept at the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee's summer vacation home on Nantucket, or in Boston Harbor near his city residence, he would be liable for $437,500 in one-time sales tax. He would also have to pay $70,000 in annual excise taxes.

Rhode Island repealed those taxes in 1993. That has made the state something of a nautical tax haven.

Kerry spokesman David Wade said Friday the boat is being kept at Newport Shipyard not to evade taxes, but "for long-term maintenance, upkeep and charter purposes."

Wade noted the vessel was designed by Rhode Island boat designer Ted Fontaine and purchased in the state. It was built in New Zealand by Friendship Yachts.

A Department of Revenue spokesman said Kerry would be liable for Massachusetts taxes if he berthed the boat in the Bay State within six months of its purchase. If the "Isabel" were brought to Massachusetts after that period, the state would have to decide if it wanted to pursue the taxes.

Massachusetts, like most other states, has been grappling with plunging tax revenues. Last year's budget decifict was $600 million, and officials are bracing for a $1 billion deficit this year."

This is an example of democrat politics! And the republicans are almost as bad!

However, if we speak up we are silenced by the elite bullies in the media!

I was surprised to see the ultra-liberal Huffington Post ran this story!

"A Christian teacher and her students were told by a Supreme Court police officer that they must stop praying there because it was against the law."

Can this possibly be happening?

What kind of Nazi would tell children they can't pray for the Supreme Court?

Students, Alumni Rally Behind Illinois Professor Fired for Expressing Catholic BeliefsBy Tess Civantos

Faculty and students are rallying behind a University of Illinois professor whom they say was fired simply because of his religious beliefs.

Dr. Kenneth Howell, an adjunct professor who taught courses on Catholicism, was told recently that he could no longer teach in the university's Department of Religion. A student at the university accused Howell of engaging in hate speech when he stated in a class review session that he agreed with the Church's teaching that homosexual sex is immoral.

But Howell refused to leave without a fight, and now he has over 3,100 supporters fighting with him -- via a Facebook group called “Save Dr. Ken.”

“It’s turning into a whole movement for freedom of speech in the classroom,” said senior Tim Fox, a member of the group and former resident at the university’s Catholic student Newman Center.

The “Save Dr. Ken” Facebook group includes alumni, current students and outside supporters who are familiar with Howell through his books or his appearances on EWTN, a Catholic television network. Howell is actively involved in the group and has written personal responses to some of his Facebook supporters.

“Save Dr. Ken” is actively working to take its protest beyond Facebook. Its home page offers detailed instructions on how to protest Howell’s dismissal, separately tailored to students, alumni and outside supporters. For example, the group asks alumni to cease donating to the university until Howell is reinstated. It also encourages members to donate to the Alliance Defense Fund, the legal alliance defending Howell’s case.

Members of the Facebook group are planning a prayer vigil on the university’s quad. Students are also organizing a mass boycott of all university religion courses unless Howell is reinstated by the fall, Melissa Silverberg, editor-in-chief of the university’s student newspaper, the Daily Illini, confirmed.

Howell is a popular professor; his students voted for him to receive an “Excellence in Teaching” award last fall, and now they are rallying for him.

Because Howell helped direct programs at the Newman Center, it has become a major player in the conflict. Monsignor Gregory Ketcham, the center's director, wrote in an e-mail to Newman residents that “We will seek to lobby for [Howell] to continue to teach Catholic courses on campus for University credit and for the Catholic cause on campus.”

Students at the center are not the only ones protesting. The campus secularist group, Atheists, Agnostics & Freethinkers, has taken up Howell’s cause. Howell had worked with the group in the past, helping organize a public debate between an atheist and a Catholic on “Does the Christian God Exist?” last February. Its president wrote a letter to the university chancellor, Robert Easter, saying, “[Howell] has shown a commitment to the questioning of all ideas. His loss is a profound blow to the University of Illinois and its purpose… Who will next be silenced?”

“Even people who disagree with what [Howell] taught think that his firing was wrong,” said Silverberg.

But not everyone is in Howell's corner. Some students say they are not so sure he should be coming back.

“I wouldn’t necessarily get behind this protest,” said David Bettinardi, a senior. “Teachers can abuse their authority, and if a teacher talks about his personal beliefs in class, it becomes less education and more indoctrination. That’s true for a professor with any set of beliefs – atheist, Catholic, whatever.”

Other students said Howell’s dismissal was not just an issue of freedom of speech, but revealed a double standard at the university.

“Professor Howell didn’t mean to insult homosexuals; he was just stating the Catholic position,” said Mike Hamoy, a senior chemistry major who took Howell’s class in fall 2009. “I’ve had multiple professors who have mocked how much Catholic families reproduce or who have implied to the class that God is a joke. Why aren’t these professors fired for their open insults?”

Some months ago I made the mistake of doing a large amount of research on how Allah is not the Jehovah God the Jews and Christians worship. It was sumarily removed from the Victoria Advocate without explanation or comment. The Advocate is the second oldest newspaper in Texas and doen't have the journalistic integrity to advocate anything!

Truth must be silenced! Prayer must be silenced! Hmmm! I recall another fellow who advocated that! Pun intended!

A potpourri of the profoundly preposterous!

I see my local paper, the Victoria Advocate, had an editorial from it's board about the importance of the First Amendment! Chuckle! Obviously a joke on it's readers since it has banned me from the paper and forums for simply telling the truth!

Scroll down to my first blog entry and tell me what is untrue about it. Their managing editor, a college educated individual, was not intelligent enough to do so! Beware the snake BEFORE it strikes!

In Texas? In the heart of the bible belt? In the city with the largest Baptist Church in the country? Yup, an elementary school child was distributing candy canes with a religious message and now the school principals are being sued!

Christians must be silenced! And according to a blogger hosted by the Huffington Post, we must all be "eradicated!"

How can this be? Simply because, thanks to satan and his politically correct, secular progressives, we have raised two generations of children without a biblical world view! There is not one single, written statute forbidding an elementary school child from doing this!

While the president is traveling the country pitching "comprehensive immigration reform his administration has cut enforcement of employer sanctions by 74%, according to the Department of Homeland Security! Another prevarication from the Lair in Chief!

However, I grow extremely weary of the redneck twits who say, "Let's round up all them wetbacks and ship 'em back to Mexico and close the border!" Uh, excuse me! Whose gonna do the work? We've raised two generations of children who think working with the hands in a trade or craft, and sweating to build America is a bad thing and beneath them! Simply speaking, as someone over the hiring at a local industrial plant
those "wetbacks" were usually the best hands! They worked hard, showed up for work every day, listened closely, learned quickly and most importantly, they could pass a piss test! That's more than I could say for a lot of the "momma's boys" that showed up when they wanted and moved like the dead lice were fallin' off 'em!

By virtue of being born in the United States every person has a right to freedom of speech! However, by that same virtue no one has a right to public respect of what he says! Respect is earned!

We now live in a country that rewards the unemployed with an almost endless supply of benefits while we reward those who work with higher taxes! Socialism at it's best! Socialism that stifles entreprenuership and enterprise!

Who is to blame for the BP oil spill? First and foremost, wacko environmentalists are to blame! Their junk science and literal worship of the earth has resulted in offshore rigs being pushed into deep water where a disaster of the present proportions was a guarantee! Next in line is the EPA, who approved this policy and signed off on this very rig! The federal government also takes the blame for hampering cleanup efforts by refusing cleanup aid from 27 different countries and not moving skimmers from other parts of the country because, "they might be needed for an oil spill! Duh! What kind of clowns are in charge in Washington! BP Chemicals and it's shortcomings are last in line!

One thing I have learned in this life is that if you curse those who bless you, you recieve that curse back on you!

In the late 80s I witnessed a number of government(taxpayer paid for) housing projects being implopded and the former residents dancing and celebrating at the sight! Those residents turned those government provided homes into crime-ridden slop houses and they celebrated their destruction!

Those same projects were replaced by new, updated, more expensive, taxpayer paid-for housing and less than 25 years later we see the same conditions in much of Chicago! Only worse! This past weekend there were 11 deaths counted in the 52 shootings in Chicago! Almost all located in or near those housing projects!

Someone said, "What one gains too cheaply, one often esteems too lightly!"

Is it any wonder the International Olympic Committee turned down Chicago's bid to host the games there?

Richness! That's the only way I can describe the mixture of coffee grounds and tea I pick up from one local coffee shop three times per week. About 60 pounds each time. I mix bat manure in with it and use it around my orchards! Such a waste to see that go in a landfill! How many tons per year in the United States alone? This is what I call sustainable agriculture!

This nation is growing less food with a rising population! THAT is a recipe for disaster and famine! We are lunging headlong toward it and no one seems to be awake!
Mark my words well; this country will see want and hunger in my lifetime! As you read this those hungry in America are rising every day!

Over 29 years of writing one of the most valuable lessons I've learned is the necessity of an experiencial frame of reference when writing anything. Someone said one time, "Write about what ya know!" So if you don't know anything how can you write? What's really scarry is the folks today, in this world of the internet, who have no frame of reference for anything beyond their own little world but write with fervor and authority anyway!

Worse yet, there are those folks who indeed have higher education but are unable to process common sense! In fact, I spoke with one college educated individual who claimed there was no such thing as common sense! I can only wonder at the teachers who taught this fellow!

And then there are the tea parties! This from www.bookerrising.net Please visit this site and donate!

Black Tea Partiers Rip Chris Matthews for 'Monochromatic' Remark

"On the January 5 edition of his MSNBC program “Hardball,” Chris Matthews claimed that everyone participating in tea party rallies such as the one held in Washington, D.C. on September 12, 2009 was white. In a discussion with Mark McKinnon of the Daily Beast and Susan Page of USA Today, Mr. Matthews said: “And they’re monochromatic, right?...Meaning they’re all white. All of them - every single one of them - is white.” Members of the Project 21, a black conservative group, disagree.

Bob Parks(pictured), a Project 21 member from Virginia, said: “Here’s a news flash for Chris Matthews. I was there. So was my son. Last time I checked, both of us are black — and we weren’t the only black people there. I know other black people who attended the September 12 rally in Washington, including some of the ones who spoke at the podium! I guess the MSNBC camera people missed them.” He continues, “To me, this means Chris Matthews thinks that blacks who don’t toe the liberal line are either invisible - and apparently irrelevant - or such sellouts that they’ve become white. Obviously, he doesn’t have the guts to have us on ‘Hardball’ so he can call us all-white ‘teabaggers’ to our faces.”

Deneen Borelli(pictured), a Project 21 fellow from New York, was one of the speakers at the September 12 rally. She said: “Chris Matthews’ statement exposes how his narrow-minded liberal bias blinds him to the truth. I was a speaker at the FreedomWorks 9.12 March on D.C. and several similar rallies in Pennsylvania. I’m also an active member in a local tea party organization. The tea party movement is not about color. It is about Americans expressing their concerns about the growth of government which will diminish individual liberty.” Ms. Borelli continued: “Chris Matthews may be the first liberal of the new year to play the race card to try to stifle First Amendment rights to free speech and assembly, but I’m sure he won’t be the last.”

Besides the September 12 rally in Washington, D.C., Ms. Borelli also spoke at tea party rallies in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 9, 2009 and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on November 14, 2009. She has been asked to speak at the “Tax Day Tea Party” being organized by FreedomWorks in Washington, D.C. for April 15, 2010 and is a member of the White Plains Tea Party in New York.

Politik Ditto: "Chris Matthews, Host At All-White Network MSNBC, Accuses Teabaggers Of Being 'All-White'"

The conservative Democratic blogger in New York City opines about Mr. Matthews (pictured): "White liberals' love for playing the race card isn't anything new. Indeed, whether it's global warming, health care or 'gay rights', white liberals' fondness for reaching for the race card when they're promoting their radically leftist agenda (that has little, if anything to do with helping blacks) has been going on for decades now (meanwhile, black liberals sit by and do nothing while their white brethren play them for fools). But then if Chris Matthews were that concerned about race, why doesn't it seem to bother him when he looks around at all the 'white' faces at his own network (the ones on air Chris, not the ones in the mailroom)? Better yet, what does Matthews have to say about the brewing concern, that even black liberals have begun to express out loud, concerning Barry's lack of addressing the [b]lack community's needs and and wants? I mean they did vote overwhelmingly for the man in the last election. C'mon Chris, doesn't that deserve some attention at your lily-white network?"

I am sick and stinkin' tired of any white person disagreeing with Obama being labeled a "hater" by cowards who cannot back up what they say!

What I'd really like is for the ignorant buffoons who constantly label people who oppose Obama's socialist agenda to look squarely into the face of Kevin Jackson(pictured) and call him a racist and hater! Call the beautiful Doreen Borelli or Bob Parks racists and haters!

Always beware the snake! The problem is that the educated socialist elite forget history! In every socialist revolution in history it was the educated elite that demanded socialism and every single stinkin' time it was those folks who were "disappeared" or done away with first!

Those who don't learn from history...

Chuckle!

Beware the snake!
