Massachusetts School Offers to Allow Pledge of Allegiance -- but Not in ClassBy Todd Starnes

"A Massachusetts high school principal has offered his solution to a student's battle to have the Pledge of Allegiance recited in class -- but his proposed resolution isn't exactly what Sean Harrington was fighting for.

Charles Skidmore, principal of Arlington High School in Arlington, Mass., has offered to allow students to recite the Pledge before school begins -- but in the school's foyer and not in the classrooms, as 17-year-old Harrington had hoped.

Kathleen Bodie, Arlington superintendent of schools, told Fox News Radio that “The principal wanted to be very respectful about the pledge and be sensitive to the Supreme Court ruling that students are not forced to say the pledge. He wanted to be sensitive to the diverse group of students we have.”

Bodie said there has been reluctance to put the district's teachers in a position of reciting the pledge, and she acknowledged that some have raised concerns about its inclusion of the words “under God.”

“I don’t know if it’s all about ‘under God,’ but that is certainly an aspect of it,” she said.

She said the pledge is voluntarily recited in the district's elementary and middle schools, but it hasn't been recited at the high school in decades.

It is unclear whether Harrington, who led the fight to bring the pledge back to the high school, will be satisfied with the compromise of having it recited in the foyer, and not in class. When he was a freshman, he noticed that there were no American flags in the classrooms, and he enlisted the aid of his fellow students to get them installed. He also began his fight to have students voluntarily recite the pledge.

Harrington recently presented school officials with a petition signed by 700 people, along with letters of support from lawmakers including Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., and Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn. But the request to have the pledge recited failed when the committee's vote ended in a 3-3 tie.

"I was really heartbroken," Harrington told FOX News Radio. "It's hard to think that something so traditional in American society was turned down."

His fight has received quite a bit of support from the community. "When I was going to school, it was an honor and a privilege to pledge allegiance to the flag," Francis De Guglielmo, 55, told the Arlington Patch. He called the ban an "absolute travesty" and a "disgrace."

Harrington, who will be a senior in the fall, told Fox News Radio: "I'm not a person who quits and I don't back down. It's a very righteous cause and needs to be followed through until the end."

Some committee members voiced concerns about forcing people to do something that might violate their beliefs – including religious beliefs. Among the no-votes was committee member Leba Heigham.

"Patriotism is a very personal thing for all of us, but I do not think it is in the school committee's best interest to mandate that any of our employees recite the pledge," she told the Patch.

But Harrington stressed that he was seeking a voluntary recitation.

"If we can't find one teacher who is willing to say the pledge, then the system we have is cracked," he told FOX News Radio, noting that a number of teachers signed his petition.

He said the school's ban on the pledge sent the wrong message. "It tells me that we've basically cast aside what our country is founded on," he said. "It's saying that we don't really care, and it's sad."

To become a high school principal Skidmore had to have gotten credentials from a college somewhere! The same for Bodie! The question then becomes who were the socialists who taught these people?

At what colleges did they recieve their socialist/athiest training?

Rep. Stark Mocks Border Security Advocates: Who Are You Going to Kill Today?

A California congressman known for edgy sarcasm mocked an opponent of illegal immigration during a town hall meeting last week, asking, "Who are you going to kill today?" before the constituent, a self-identified Minuteman, posed his question.

Rep. Pete Stark, D-Calif., no stranger to controversy, mocked the idea that the borders are not secure when asked about the federal government's lack of activity on border security.

"We can't get enough Minutemen armed. We'd like to get all the Minutemen armed so they can stop shooting people here," Stark said.

Eventually, members of the audience urged Stark to offer a serious answer.

"If you knew anything about our borders, you would know that's not the case. Our borders are quite secure, thank you," Stark said, drawing jeers.

Stark resumed his hostile act, asking the Minuteman what he would do to secure the border.

"I would send about about 25,000 troops for one thing and build a wall down so vehicles could not pass," the Minuteman said.

"How high and long would it be?" Stark asked.

"As high and as long as it takes," the Minuteman said, elicting cheers.

Stark said he would start a ladder company with the Minuteman if he designed the wall and doesn't shoot the people coming over.

"But I've got to know how high the wall is and I'll sell a whole lot of ladders for people who want to come," Stark said.

"This is a very serious matter and you're sitting there making fun of it," the Minuteman responded.

"I don't have to make fun of you sir, you do a fine job all by yourself," Stark said.

Stark made the comments last week at a town hall audience that included Steve Kemp, a member of the Golden State Minutemen, a group that opposes illegal immigrants. Kemp recorded the confrontation.

A spokesman for Stark did not return voicemail messages left at his office or on his cell phone. He also didn't respond to an e-mail seeking comment.

The clash came as the national spotlight focuses on Arizona's tough new law cracking down on illegal immigrants and the protests it is drawing across the country, including a legal challenge from the federal government.

Immigration is shaping up to be among the critical election-year issues as Republicans try to regain control of both chambers in Congress riding a wave of anti-Washington sentiment.

Stark, a liberal Democrat, is expected to easily win re-election against a lightly regarded opponent, political newcomer Justin Jelincic, who describes himself as a conservative Democrat.

Stark earned his primary challenge after he slammed a constituent who voiced his opposition to Obama's health care plan last summer at a town hall meeting.

"Mr. Congressman, don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining," the constituent told Stark, referring to what he called the smoke and mirrors of the president's plan.

"I wouldn't dignify you be peeing on your leg," Stark fired back. "It wouldn't be worth wasting the urine."

In March, Stark seized control of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee for one day after Rep. Charlie Rangel, D-N.Y., stepped aside due to an ethics probe. But Stark was quickly pushed aside in favor of Rep. Sander Levin, D-Mich., after many Democrats privately complained that Stark was too volatile to lead such an important committee.

Stark is known for making inflammatory comments.

In 2007, Stark accused President Bush of sending troops to Iraq "to get their heads blown off for the president's amusement."

He also once called former Colorado Republican Rep. Scott McInnis a "fruitcake."

The sad thing here is that this sad bag of pond scum is in charge of such an important post! Does he live on the border? No! How many more American citizens have to die before this piece of filth wakes up?

Biden Calls Custard Shop Manager a 'Smartass' After Taxes Comment

"Vice President Biden called the manager of a custard shop outside of Milwaukee, Wis., a "smartass" after the man asked him to lower taxes.

Biden made the comment Friday after the Kopp’s Frozen Custard shop manager told him that his dessert would be on the house if he lowered taxes.

"What do we owe you?" Biden is heard saying in footage captured by WISN-TV.

"Don’t worry, it’s on us," the manager replied. "Lower our taxes and we’ll call it [the custard] even."

"Why don’t you say something nice instead of being a smartass all the time?" Biden said a few minutes later.

Biden had walked in to Kopp’s mistakenly asking for ice cream instead of custard.

The manager said later in an interview with WISN that he thought Biden didn’t seem happy initially about the taxes comment, but that the vice president later whispered that he was just kidding.

Biden was in Wisconsin to hit the campaign trail with Democratic Senator Russ Feingold. Just days earlier, the vice president told a crowd of Feingold’s supporters gathered at a fund-raising event that "there’s no possibility to restore the 8 million jobs lost in the Great Recession."

He then added that he and the current administration "inherited a god-awful mess."

After he wraps up his time with Feingold, Biden will visit the Gulf Coast on Tuesday to survey the damage caused by the BP oil spill."

Mexican Gangs Maintain Permanent Lookout Bases in Hills of ArizonaBy Adam Housley

"Mexican drug cartels have set up shop on American soil, maintaining lookout bases in strategic locations in the hills of southern Arizona from which their scouts can monitor every move made by law enforcement officials, federal agents tell Fox News.

The scouts are supplied by drivers who bring them food, water, batteries for radios -- all the items they need to stay in the wilderness for a long time.

“To say that this area is out of control is an understatement," said an agent who patrols the area and asked not to be named. "We (federal border agents), as well as the Pima County Sheriff Office and the Bureau of Land Management, can attest to that.”

Much of the drug traffic originates in the Menagers Dam area, the Vekol Valley, Stanfield and around the Tohono O’odham Indian Reservation. It even follows a natural gas pipeline that runs from Mexico into Arizona.

In these areas, which are south and west of Tucson, sources said there are “cartel scouts galore” watching the movements of federal, state and local law enforcement, from the border all the way up to Interstate 8.

“Every night we’re getting beaten like a pinata at a birthday party by drug, alien smugglers," a second federal agent told Fox News by e-mail. "The danger is out there, with all the weapons being found coming northbound…. someone needs to know about this!”

The agents blame part of their plight on new policies from Washington, claiming it has put a majority of the U.S. agents on the border itself. One agent compared it to a short-yardage defense in football, explaining that once the smugglers and drug-runners break through the front line, they're home free.

“We are unable to work any traffic, because they have us forward deployed," the agent said. "We are unable to work the traffic coming out of the mountains. That traffic usually carries weapons and dope, too, again always using stolen vehicles.”

The Department of Homeland Security denies it has ordered any major change in operations or any sort of change in forward deployment.

“The Department of Homeland Security has dedicated unprecedented manpower, technology and infrastructure resources to the Southwest border over the course of the past 16 months," DHS spokesman Matt Chandler said. "Deployment of CBP/Border Patrol and ICE personnel to various locations throughout the Southwest border is based on actionable intelligence and operational need, not which elected official can yell the loudest.”

While agents in the area agree that southwest Arizona has been a trouble spot for more than a decade, many believe Washington and politicians “who come here for one-day visit” aren’t seeing the big picture.

They say the area has never been controlled and has suddenly gotten worse, with the cartels maintaining a strong presence on U.S. soil. More than ever, agents on the front lines are wearing tactical gear, including helmets, to protect themselves.

“More than 4,000 of these agents are deployed in Arizona," Chandler says. "The strategy to secure our nation’s borders is based on a 'defense in depth' philosophy, including the use of interior checkpoints, like the one on FR 85 outside Ajo, to interdict threats attempting to move from the border into the interior of our nation.”

Without placing direct fault on anyone, multiple agents told Fox that the situation is more dangerous for them than ever now that the cartels have such a strong position on the American side of the border.

They say morale is down among many who patrol the desolate area, and they worry that the situation won't change until an agent gets killed."

(CNSNews.com) - "The U.S. Justice Department gave a group called the New York Agency for Community Affairs a grant of $135,130 in fiscal year 2005 to “provide youth leadership training to students at select New York City schools, form ‘ACORN Youth Union’ chapters, and coordinate student campaigns to address issues such as school funding, neighborhood safety, and school governance,” according to a Government Accountability Office report released this week.

The GAO report says that in fiscal years 2005 through 2009 the federal government gave ACORN and what the GAO calls “potentially related organizations” more than $40 million in federal funds.

According to the report, eight other agencies joined the Justice Department in providing federal funding to ACORN and “potentially related organizations.” These included the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Treasury Department, Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Election Assistance Commission (EAC), NeighborWorks, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB).

“Nine agencies—HUD, DHS, DOJ, EAC, NeighorWorks, CPB, EPA, Treasury, and NEA—have identified approximately $37.5 million in direct federal grants and at least $2.9 million in subawards (i.e. grants and contracts awarded by federal grantees) to ACORN or potentially related organizations, primarily for housing-related purposes during fiscal years 2005 through 2009,” says the report.

The GAO explains that for purposes of the report it asked 31 federal agencies that it queried about potential funding of ACORN and related organizations to use a list of organizations created by the Congressional Research Service (CRS). “To enable the 31 agencies, for the purposes of this report, to determine whether they had provided funding to ACORN or any potentially related organizations, we suggested that they search their grant and procurement databases using the organizations identified by CRS as potentially having a relationship with ACORN,” said the report. “We selected the CRS list in part because counsel for ACORN identified the majority of organizations on the list as having some sort of relationship to ACORN.”

The Justice Department grant to the New York Agency for Community Affairs was initially reported by the Justice Department’s Office of Inspector General when it issued a report last November on Justice Department grants to ACORN and ACORN-affiliated organizations.

The IG report said the grant in question was the result of a congressional earmark, and specifically mentioned that one purpose was to form “ACORN Youth Union” chapters.

“In addition, we identified one direct grant of DOJ funds to an ACORN affiliate, the New York Agency for Community Affairs, Inc. (NYACA),” said the IG report. “We considered NYACA to be an affiliate of ACORN because it acted as a fiscal agent for ACORN, engaged in substantial financial transactions with ACORN, and DOJ grant documentation showed that ACORN was a major partner in the grant program being funded. In FY 2005, NYACA received a grant of $138,130 resulting from a congressional earmark. The purposes of the grant to NYACA were to provide youth leadership training to students at select New York City schools; form “ACORN Youth Union” chapters; and coordinate student campaigns to address issues such as school funding, neighborhood safety, and school governance.”

The grant was given out by the Justice Department’s Office of Justice Programs (OJP). The application for the grant, according to the IG report, said the applicant intended to use the federal money in "building a base of trained student leaders."

“The NYACA’s program title identified in the grant award document was ‘ACORN Youth Organizing,’” said the IG report. “The award period for the grant was from September 1, 2005, to August 31, 2006. The grant program narrative submitted with the application described the program’s goals as: (1) building a base of trained student leaders, (2) winning specific improvements and policy changes, and (3) increasing post-high school opportunities for young people. According to the budget detail submitted with the application, the award funds were to be used entirely for personnel and benefits for the following positions: (1) a part-time Executive Director, (2) a part-time Brooklyn Schools Organizer, (3) a part-time Brooklyn Lead Organizer, and (4) two full-time Youth Organizers. According to OJP, NYACA received all the grant funds with the last draw-down in September 2006.”

Congress included language in its fiscal 2010 spending bills that block funding for ACORN. "Congress passed povisions restricting the funding of ACORN or any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, or allied organizations in the fiscal year 2010 continuing resolutions, which were followed by several fiscal 2010 appropriations acts that prohibited any appropriated funds from being awarded to various ACORN or ACORN-related organizations," said the GAO."

So we gave ACORN, involved in widespread voter fraud and mis-appropriation of government funds, their share of $40 million! And this was going on while George W. Bush was in office!

Thousands of acres of government parkland in Arizona that were quietly closed to U.S. citizens in 2006 due to safety concerns fueled by drug and human smuggling along the Mexican border remain a no-go zone for Americans nearly four years later.

Roughly 3,500 acres of taxpayer-funded government land in Arizona have been closed to U.S. citizens since 2006 due to safety concerns fueled by drug and human smuggling along the Mexican border, according to a statement posted on the website for the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge.

The section of land -- about 3 percent of the 118,000-acre refuge -- has been closed since Oct. 6, 2006, when "there was a marked increase in violence along the border due to human and drug trafficking," according to the statement released Wednesday by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

The closed area extends north from the international border for roughly three-quarters of a mile; a notice of the area's closure has been posted on the refuge's website since 2006. The remainder of the refuge remains open to the public for recreational activities.

"At this time there are no plans to reopen this southernmost 3/4-mile portion of the Refuge," the statement continued. "However, since 2006 the Refuge has experienced a significant decline in violent activity in the area thanks to ongoing cooperation between the US Fish and Wildlife Service and US Customs and Border Protection."

Giving Part of U.S. to Mexico? A stretch of Arizona is off limits to Americans because of heavily armed drug smugglers and human traffickers!

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu told Fox News on Wednesday that violence against law enforcement officers and U.S. citizens has increased in the past four months, further underscoring the need to keep the area off-limits to Americans.

"It's literally out of control," Babeu said. “We stood with Senator McCain and literally demanded support for 3,000 soldiers to be deployed to Arizona to get this under control and finally secure our border with Mexico."

U.S. Fish and Wildlife officials have warned visitors in the area to beware of heavily armed drug smugglers and human traffickers. In a statement posted at the time of the closure, Mitch Ellis, manager of the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge, said conditions in the zone reached a point where public use of the area was not prudent.

"The [refuge] has been adversely affected by border-related activities," Ellis' statement read. "The international border with Mexico has also become increasingly violent. Assaults on law enforcement officers and violence against migrants have escalated. Violence on the Refuge associated with smugglers and border bandits has been well-documented."

Security is also a top concern in other parcels of public land in Arizona.

Dennis Godfrey, a spokesman for the Bureau of Land Management's Arizona office, said roughly a dozen signs were posted earlier this month along the Sonoran Desert National Monument advising that travel in the area is not recommended due to "active drug and human" smuggling.

"It is a corridor for smugglers of all types," Godfrey said on Thursday.

The monument, which contains more than 487,000 acres of desert landscape, is roughly 35 miles southwest of Phoenix. Bureau of Land Management officials are encouraging travelers to use public lands north of Interstate 8, which runs from San Diego to Casa Grande, Ariz.

"Visitors may encounter armed criminals and smuggling vehicles travelling at a high rate of speed," the signs read. "Stay away from trash, clothing, backpacks and abandoned vehicles."

New EPA Regulations Have Dairy Farmers Crying Over Spilled Milk

"New EPA regulations have some Northern Michigan dairy farmers crying over spilled milk.

The Environmental Protection Agency intends to classify milk as a hazardous waste; in the same category as oil.

That means, farmers would have to come up with an oil spill prevention plan which could cost them thousands of dollars.

The Senate Agricultural Committee passed a resolution today urging the EPA to take back those regulations.

Is she considering the fact that the federal government is advising American citizens NOT to travel in two border counties in Arizona simply because there is too much Mexican drug cartel crime there? Is she considering the fact that Phoenix Arizona is the kidnap capitol of the U.S. because of illegal immigration? Is she considering the fact that many of those kidnapped are Hispanic? Are LULAC, MALDEF and La Raza considering these same facts?

The answer to all of these questions is a resounding "No!" This lady and these organizations have reduced this issue to it's lowest common denominator*; hate and division!

Look carefully at the Muslim immigrants protesting in the United Kingdom! These people live in England, work in England and have the benefits of English citizens. And this is how they repay their hosts!

Look carefully at the signs! British soldiers are accused of being Nazis! Nazis! Anyone recall the blitz? Anyone recall how the people of England suffered under a Nazi onslaught? And now to be accused of being Nazis by people who are guests in their country!

How many American soldiers were killed in the war against Hitler and the Nazis and the Arizona law has been characterized by a photo of Nazi troops asking for "papers!"

Let me please make this clear! The present immigration issue has nothing to do with race to the vast majority of Americans. It has to do with national soverignty and safety within our own borders!

The bible says that racism is a sin and I believe that! The sister of Moses was punished terribly for racism because she rose up against her brother because he married a Nubian(black) woman! She was struck with leprosy!

The idea of the hooded cowards, the skinhead cowards and the extreme right in this country who are indeed racists, that those of a different skin color are somehow second class citizens is sick!

That would mean that my adopted Hispanic mother who lives right here in Victoria is somehow a second class citizen and I don't buy that garbage!

The idea that all Hiapanic/Americans support the influx of illegal immigrants and the crime they bring into their neighborhoods, is just as much garbage!

We've had illegal immigrants serve in our military and die in service to this country and their mother's cannot even visit their graves without a visa! This is garbage too!

Barack Obama and Congressional Democrats are deliberately and unapologetically engaging in economic sabotage; simultaneously targeting numerous sectors of the American economy using orchestrated systemic crisis in an effort to overwhelm the U.S. economy and effect the destruction of capitalism and America from within. By using the Cloward-Piven Strategy to promote economic and social change through the exploitation of misfortune, national crisis and disorganization the Left is advancing government as the tool for reorganization. Their tactics and intended consequences include:

Strategically planned “crises” to systematically takeover private industry.
Flooding government with impossible financial burdens until the debt becomes unsustainable.
Destruction of the middle class and sustained unemployment through “bailouts” and “stimulus” packages promoted as “revitalization of the American economy.”

Expansion of federal powers over states and individuals.
Expansion of the powers of the Executive.
Overloading electoral systems with successive tidal waves of new voters.
Complete control over the media through “net neutrality” and the “reinvention of journalism“
Promoting social unrest and violence. First promoted in 1966 by Marxist Columbia University professors Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the Cloward-Piven Strategy seeks to hasten the destruction of capitalism in America by expanding the welfare system to the point of collapsing the economy and implementing socialism by nationalizing large sectors of private industry. In their Nation article, The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty, Cloward and Piven explicitly defined the kind of “crisis” they sought to create:

By crisis, we mean a publicly visible disruption in some institutional sphere. Crisis can occur spontaneously (e.g., riots) or as the intended result of tactics of demonstration and protest which either generate institutional disruption or bring unrecognized disruption to public attention.

No matter where the strategy is implemented, it shares the following features:

* The offensive organizes previously unorganized groups eligible for government benefits but not currently receiving all they can.

* The offensive seeks to identify new beneficiaries and/or create new benefits.

* The overarching aim is always to impose new stresses on target systems, with the ultimate goal of forcing their collapse.

The radical Left worked insidiously for decades to establish the needed framework to dismantle the capitalist system in America as outlined in the Cloward-Piven Strategy. Concentrated efforts were devoted to increasing welfare rolls and expanding the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), established in 1977 under the Carter administration. According to Discover The Networks, the CRA,

For purposes of “racial equality” – outlawed redlining and required banks to extend credit to undercapitalized, high-risk borrowers in low-income, mostly-minority areas. The Act also established extensive government oversight to monitor how well banks were complying with its mandates.

Any bank wishing to expand or to merge with another was required to first demonstrate that it had complied with all CRA requirements. Final approval for bank expansions or mergers could be held up or derailed entirely by complaints — however frivolous or unfounded — where community groups like ACORN or the Greenlining Institute accused a bank of having violated the CRA.

The New York Post explains what happened next:

As ACORN ran its campaigns against local banks, it quickly hit a roadblock. Banks would tell ACORN they could afford to reduce their credit standards by only a little — since Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the federal mortgage giants, refused to buy up those risky loans for sale on the ’secondary market.’

That is, the CRA wasn’t enough. Unless Fannie and Freddie were willing to relax their credit standards as well, local banks would never make home loans to customers with bad credit histories or with too little money for a down-payment.

So ACORN’s Democratic friends in Congress moved to force Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to dispense with normal credit standards. Throughout the early ’90s, they imposed ever-increasing subprime-lending quotas on Fannie and Freddie….

ACORN’s intimidation tactics, and its alliance with Democrats in Congress, triumphed. Despite their 1994 takeover of Congress, Republican attempts to pare back the CRA were stymied….

ACORN had come to Congress not only to protect the CRA from GOP [Republican] reforms but also to expand the reach of quota-based lending to Fannie, Freddie and beyond….

[In June 1995] the Clinton administration announced a comprehensive strategy to push homeownership in America to new heights — regardless of the compromise in credit standards that the task would require. Fannie and Freddie were assigned massive subprime lending quotas, which would rise to about half of their total business by the end of the decade."

Get real! Wake up! It can and will happen here! As you read this we are just one nation-wide social uprising away from famine in this country!

Try these ten reasons on for size;

First, you need to understand that there has not been but a couple of modern day famines that were not contrived by man as a tool of war or as a means of attaining a political objective!

Second, this country, for the first time in modern history, became a net food importer in 2007! We have obviously learned nothing from importing our oil!

Third, there has been a gradual shift away from large crop yields in order to "save the earth!"

Fourth, in the name of food safety truck crop production has gotten more expensive and will eventually put small truck crop farming operations out of business.

Fifth, this nations transportation system is very delicate and depends on foreign oil to run the trains, trucks and farm equipment. Any major disruption of that system could increase the cost of food dramatically overnight.

Sixth, Americans, even rural Americans, have gotten away from gardening and canning. No time! And it's cheaper to buy it at the super Wal-Mart! The problem is that we've forgotten how!

Seventh, Americans have mostly ignored government advice to store and rotate non-perishable food items. Harumpf! One of the few times the government does indeed give good advice and we ignore it!

Eighth, the majority of bulk seed for farming is controlled by fewer and fewer large corporations like Monsanto and DuPont. May I suggest you look up their world views on politics?

Ninth, food production and processing has moved farther and farther from the average consumer. Reliance on the above mentioned transportation system. That shelf at the Safeway store with the canned peas? Well, there is likely NOT a few cases of those peas back in the warehouse in the back of the store! Those peas very likely came palletized straight off the truck last night and will be replenished again tonight!

Lastly, the big cities will suffer first and the suffering there will be the worst! Large concentrations of people mean a serious need for a stable transportation system. PEOPLE! WE DO NOT HAVE A STABLE TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM!

Thanks to the EPA being run by a bevy of environmental extremists for more than 20 years, through the administrations of both political parties, we have pushed offshore oil exploration way out into deep waters where a spill disaster was inevitable. While we have vast amounts of oil reserves we do not take advantage of it to save the earth! We have lowered crop production in the face of an increasing population. We have made farming too expensive and unprofitable an enterprise for the next generation to get into! While we have vast quantities of coal reserves we have failed to use it in order to save the earth!

When our overly delicate transportation system fails a family breadwinner making $100,000 per year could go overnight to being hungry and unable to feed his children! How naive we seem to be!

Too little warning too late? You decide!

In March of '09 we were told, VERY QUIETLY, that Fed Chairman, Ben Bernanke ordered $1.2 trillion in new currency printed. I understand, by most reports, that all of that money will be in circulation by March of 2011.

"Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke on Wednesday raised the volume on his warnings that the U.S. can no longer ignore skyrocketing debt levels.

The Fed Chairman said the U.S. need look no further than Europe to see our future if strong measures aren’t taken to rein in debt.

“Ongoing developments in Europe point to the importance of maintaining sound government finances,” Bernanke said in prepared remarks before the House Budget Committee.

While the U.S. economy is buffeted because of its size and diversity, Bernanke said ignoring the debt could have disastrous long-term affects. “History makes clear that failure to achieve fiscal sustainability will, over time, sap the nation’s economic vitality, reduce our living standards, and greatly increase the risk of economic and financial instability.”

Elsewhere in his remarks, he noted, "To avoid sharp, disruptive shifts in spending programs and tax policies in the future, and to retain the confidence of the public and the markets, we should be planning now how we will meet these looming budgetary challenges," he said.

The call to arms over U.S. debt levels offset some encouraging economic projections.

It’s not the first time Bernanke has warned Congress that the U.S. government spends too much and takes in too little.
In April, Bernanke warned that U.S. debt levels could rise sharply over the next decade and called on Congress to take strong measures to get the nation’s fiscal house in order.

Bernanke has cited the following data to add heft to his warnings: President Barack Obama's 2011 budget proposal forecasts a record deficit of $1.6 trillion, or 10.6% of gross domestic product, the highest level since World War II. The government plans to reduce that to 3.9% of GDP by fiscal 2014, but that would still be above the 3.0% of GDP that economists consider sustainable.

Some economists have argued that the U.S. is potentially worse off than Europe. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, for instance, predicts that the U.S. budget deficit will still be at 8% of GDP in 2011 after hitting 9.3% of GDP in 2009. For the euro area, the OECD sees the deficit remaining around 4.0% of GDP through 2011.

Even though Greek debt is expected to balloon to more than 130% of GDP next year, the average of the euro area should see public debt levels closer to 93% of GDP, according to the OECD. In the U.S., the gross general government debt, which includes also state and local debt, is seen rising to 100% of GDP in 2011.

Meanwhile, Bernanke predicted the economy will continue to grow well into next year spurred by an increase in consumer spending and business investment. The labor market will continue to be a problem, however.

The Fed chairman said the recovery won't be fast enough to put 8 million people back to work in a short period. He also cautioned the housing market remains soft.

Stock markets rose Wednesday buoyed in part by Bernanke's comments. Most of the Dow Jones Industrial Average's 30 components were higher, led by economically-sensitive Caterpillar (CAT), DuPont (DD) and Boeing (BA)."

Now please answer me this question: Waht country/nation in the history of the world has ever monetized it's debt by printing money and NOT suffered from hyper-inflation?

I understand that the president's debt commission even has social security on the table to cut the debt. I also understand that doctors in Texas are now charging a new fee to all patients associated with the cost of Obamacare!

By restricting access to abortions, the government deters women from exercising their right to choose. Vania Leveille, who is a member of the ACLU Legislative Counsel, notes that:'There are hundreds of thousands of women serving in our military who put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms yet they are prevented from exercising their own reproductive freedom. Servicewomen stationed overseas are disproportionately affected by this ban. Allowing American servicewomen to use their own private funds to obtain abortion care at U.S. military facilities is fundamental and should never have been questioned in the first place.'"

Abortion mills in our military hospitals! And NARAL seems to think this has to do with women's health! And the health of that human being that is "disarticulated" and thrown in the dumpster? What about that child's health?

Thirty days in the public stocks and then horsewhip him on the Bexar County courthouse steps! He gets caught again, hang him in the courthouse square!
Problem solved!

Wife beaters, child abusers and perverts get thirty days in the stocks! Then horsewhipped! Guess what? When accountability finally comes back to the criminal, crime goes down!

Your son walks into the living room and asks for permission to put some foam matting up in the storage shed so he and his band can practice there. You tell him it will cost him $300 for a permit which will go into your pocket!

The governor of Louisana asked for permission from the federal government to build 12 barriers so the oil from the BP spill wouldn't get into the inland marshes where the spawning grounds for thier seafood industry are. The federal government said they could only build less than half of that and that they would pay for only one!

Build the barriers and if the federal government has a problem with that tell them to go away, get out of the way and stay away!

You see I have a problem with this whole permission thing! Both the state and federal government have this thing about selling permission to do stuff, not so much in order to regulate but to bring in revenue!

If I have wildlife eating my crops...uh, crops that feed myself and other PEOPLE, I need to give the state money for a permit to protect my crops and thus my income and my food! AND THEN, I am told I must leave that deer laying on the ground to rot and feed the buzzards!

Not only does this NOT make common sense but someone please explain to me where it's even constitutional!

The founding fathers of this country and, I'd go so far as to say of this state, would roll over in their graves if they knew to what degree our freedom to protect our own property has erroded!

And it's all about revenue! You must pay for permission to drive on the highways your own taxdollars build and maintain and then the state of Texas SELLS BOTH YOUR DRIVING RECORDS, PERSONAL INFORMATION, DEMOGRAPHICS AND ALL CRIMINAL RECORDS TO ANYONE WITH MONEY!

And in 2005 the state of Texas made over $58 million selling those records even though they admitted in a Wired Magazine article that up to 29% of those records are incorrect or out of date!

A man goes fishing. He pulls his boat to the coast to take his son fishing! He has to buy tags for his truck, the boat and the trailer. The gas for the truck and boat are taxed. He has to buy a license for he and his son to fish. He pays both a sales tax and a special tax on the motor oil for both the boat and his truck.

He pays sales tax on the purchase of the truch and the boat. He pays a sales tax on the soda pop and ice in the ice chest and a sales tax on the ice chest!

Everything this man does on this trip is taxed from the clothes he and his son wear to the sunscreen to the mosquito repellent and fish hooks!

The boating safety course he paid for and the hunting and fishing safety courses have to be paid for. The instructor who teaches those courses has to take and pay for a course to be able to charge to teach those courses!

The government is everywhere in this trip demanding a cut! A cut of what? A cut of the few fish this father and son are bringing home? Hmmm! Perhaps someone could break down the actual cost, per ounce of those fish!

Paying the government for permission!

Now are some of these taxes-these paid-for permissions necessary? Perhaps, but did we ever envision it would come to this?

I think not!

And HOW did it come to this? Hmmm! Could it be because WE ASKED FOR PERMISSION TO BEGIN WITH?

The fall of these United States!

When the flag of the United States is desecrated, burned and destroyed by a generation that has no frame of reference for real patriotism and national pride, it is THAT generation that will carry out the destruction of liberty started by their parents!
Worse yet, we have raised TWO generations of those children! Two generations of children without a biblical world view! Two generations without a basic respect for life or what THEIR liberty actually cost previous generations! Two generations that view life as cheap!
And when life is cheap, just about any excess and atrocity becomes the norm!
This is the attitude, of the generation that will finish the work of destruction started by their parents!
And woe to those parents! Parents who refused to teach their children honesty! Parents who refused to discipline their children! Parents who made excuses for dishonesty and rewarded sloth! Liberal parents who refused to teach their children to work! To sweat! To learn a craft or trade to supplement their academic education! Parents whose only requirement of their children was that they make good grades!
THAT is the generation that approved of abortion! And now Americans alone have aborted more than 50 million children? Children that would be needed to pay into a social security system that supports their parents and grandparents? Is it not justice that their children and grandchildren who are now moving towards euthenasia?
Hmmm! Let me see! Wasn't it THAT generation of parents who started the drastic rise in the national debt that reached $13 trillion last Wednesday? THAT generation that put their children and grandchildren in debt so they could be more comfortable?
And all of this done under a flag that American men and women have fought and dies under!
Justice is coming to THAT generation!

Massacre?

Did anyone catch Helen Thomas accusing Israel of a massacre abord the terrorist aid ship?
Hmmm! If you really wanna massacre people you really don't attack with paintball guns!
At some point I hope Christian Americans wake up and understand that we, individually, must stand with Israel!
I say "individually, because America-the United States WILL abandon Israel! It is already written in stone so get used to it!
I find it interesting that the insane, paranoid, meglamaniac Kim Jong Il and his legions of sociopaths sank a South Korean ship last month and the world cringed at the thought of making North Korea accountable for this murder but you let Israel defend itself with paintball guns and BAM the whole world stands in condemnation!

Write them both a check!
Then send a check to support Israel to your local Temple Congregation just to let them know who you are and that you love both them and Israel!
The Lord God made covenant with Abraham that he would bless those who blessed his seed and those who cursed his seed he would curse!
I have supported Israel for more than 15 years and I have never been hungry or homeless! I have been healed of diseases!
